Potential advocates must fill out an application, secure a background check and personal interview before acceptance into the program.

An advocate must be 21 and have personal transportation.

CASA will provide 10 sessions of training totaling 30 hours.

One courtroom observation is required prior to a case assignment.

Advocates must attain 12 CEUs a year

Time commitment is approximately 10-12 hours per month.
