Regardless of your education or background, our free, comprehensive training gives you all the tools you will need to protect the best interests of these children.
To become an advocate you must:
-Complete an application, background check and personal interview.
-An advocate must be 21 and have personal transportation.
-Complete 10 sessions of training totaling 30 hours.
-One courtroom observation is required prior to a case assignment.
-Attain 12 CEUs a year and make a 24 month commitment.
-General time invested is approximately 10-12 hours per month.
